I know this is a strange question and almost impossible to answer, but would still like to get some opinions. Here's the stats:
Current boat: 24'1" length, 8'3" beam, 4,000 lbs dry with engine
Proposed boat: 28'1" length, 9'6" beam, 6,800 lbs dry with engines
Both are Grady-White, same layout, same hull design.
The question is how much better will the ride be with the proposed boat? Current boat does well being a 24 footer, but I'd expect the proposed one to ride much better. Am I setting myself up for disappointment? A seatrial will obviously solve this, but that wouldn't happen unless a contingent offer is made and accepted.
Thanks-
