I have my boat at the marina and i don't have electricity at the dock. I have 2 batteries on the boat with a Yamaha 130. I would like to know if theres any way i would be able to charge batteries? And what would be the best way to test batteries to see when they need to be charged. I don't want to kill both batteries out on the water and be stuck.

If your marina allows you could set up a solar panel . Possibly something small on a pole on the dock or allow for a temp mount on the boat while you are in port.

What Batteries?
1 Starter, 1 House?
2 in Parallel?
1 for trolling motor?

Are they switched together? Separated?
Is there any reason they should Not be Re-Charged by the Alternator when the engine is running?

You should Measure 14+ volts with the engine running.
If they measure 12.2+ when you come back in a week; the engine should start!

It is all in the details. We need yours.
