whatever you decide, you need to make absolute shure that the "load" will not under any circumstances be a live load, By that I mean you don't want any of the load shifting around in the boat, this would be extremely dangerous alone due to the unexpected unpredictable change in handling. My next point is you will be stressing your fiberglass in this area the boat is NOT designed to support all or most of the load limit in one area of the deck. look at the simple suggestions above trim tabs or fin I always think of a acronym a wise person once told me ----------K.I.S.S --------- Keep It Simple Stupid :D ---- most times it keeps me out of trouble. Boat Safe

Heavy duty contractor grade black 39 gal. trash bags work as well as fat sacks for ski lockers and under seats. They are also cheap. Free if you use them for trash later. I have been using 2 in my ski locker and 1 under each seat for a couple of years. A bildge pump to fill an empty them. They are very difficult to puncture.

Web Craft;

Sounds like you want to go slower (IE: 17 to 19 MPH), stay on plane so your wife can see where she is going, and have nice size wakes to play with. The boat needs to draft more inorder to make the wake big, Trim Tabs will keep the boat level at slower speeds, but without the weight to increase the draft, the tabs will reduce the wake. If you want a big wake and a level ride, you should use trim tabs and added weight. Bladder are available, and water is a good solution since you can pump it out when you are not wake boarding. In any event you got good advise in the other reponses as well so I will not be redundant. Just remember weight and balance is your goal. Don't allow the weight to shift, be able to remove it when not needed ( ie no need for sand or water when you have five people in the boat), and be able to maintain balance at all speeds. Good luck!
