How do I chahge the oil on Yamaha 40

Just bought a Pontoon boat and cant figure out how to change the oil, where iis the drain plug?

There is a plug just below the cowling release handle on the aft side of the motor. 3rd hole down from the handle. Look up inside the hole and you will see the plug.

Welcome to Iboats ..... are you talking about the gear oil for a 2-stroke, or the oil on a 4-stroke .........
