How Do I Fix Loose QS Throttle Handle

It looks like I have a 88688A25 Commander Throttle. The handle has become loose

It looks like (according to the explosed diagram at http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show...=Zero+Effect+Control+-+Mechanical,+Components

that the button at the base should come off and I could possibly tighten it up...but I am afraid to pry it off etc

How does one tighten the handle??

Your may be different but on mine there is a Rubber boot that covers that button at the base of the throttle(neutral button). that boot peels off and then you can get to the bolt that hold on the throttle.
