To make a long story short, my 2004 F115 trim system is acting up. I'm looking at the reservoir and the hole to fill seems a bit low? Can anyone tell me the correct way to service the thingamabob.

If you just want to check and top up the fluid levels, raise and lock motor, remove the resevoir plug fluid should be even with botom of the bore threads. If you need to bleed the air from the system, with motor fully down , loosen the release valve (allen head) and slowly lift the motor upward by hand extending the tilt pistion, slowly allow to fall back down to the lowest position and close the valve. you can operate the tilt a few times and release the valve to allow air to exit.
