Hello Texas fisherman,<br />It would be very unusual for both power pack to go bad at once. I would check the output from under the flywheel of the charge coils, Brown and brown/yellow.Also the sensor wires for their out put also.<br />Just a thought

Ditto almost retired again <br /> Be sure the packs are getting what they need.<br />>good grounds and connections<br />>charge voltage<br />>trigger voltage<br />>no ground on the kill<br /><br />Then replace them if they don't perform....

Did OMC swap from one powerpack systems like mine to duals so that you can still get home if one goes? <br /><br />if so, can more modern powerpacks fit older motors? (like my 100ESL72)<br /><br />Just curious, I only just replaced mine, cost a fortune.. screw that do what i did wire in a gm control module i have like 8-10 lying around ill carrie a few in the boat but i wasnt gona pay no stupid price for a pwr pack <br />the ingition modules are a dime a dozon at your local wrecking yard lol good luck

Hi Novacane..<br /><br />If you are willing to draw or write exactly what you did.. (even just basic diagrams drawn with a mouse in MS paint)<br />I would be happy to put it online on my web server..
