I suppose that you could mess with the tubing bender so that your metal tubing would have more than one slight bend in it to approximate the contour of your hull. If you got it just right it would look really good. May take some trial and error. I think you can get a tubing bender as a loaner, or for rent from your local Lowes, Home Depot. ect..

Thanks for the info rvrlaxn. I'll give it a try as soon as this weather gets warmer and the stupid snow is gone for good!

Visit your local commercial electrical contractor.
They can bend you some galvanized steel or aluminum conduit to suit your application.
Mine is like rvlaxn.
But the pvc tube over the metal upright rotates as the boat rubs past.
To do that just cut a 2 inch long piece of the pvc and rivet it to the metal tube at the right height.
That is now your lower bearing surface for the rotating pvc above it.
With a hole in a cap on the upper end, it allows air to be pushed out when water comes in the bottom during launch and load.
It also breaks any forces trying to blow or vacuum the upright pvc off of the metal uprights at highway speed.

If you do not want to bend your own, you can take the advice of the throughly missed Tashasdaddy.
Use the tubing off a discarded trampoline.
