Re: How much for a 35 fourstoke?
I'm shopping ( new) right now for the same motor and can share what I've learned. Nobdy makes a 35 4 stroke as of 08. It's either 30 or 40. However a dealer told me that Yamaha ( and Evenrude) is coming out with a 35 in 09. ( DOesn't help you if you want to buy used.) As for pricing, Honda & Yamaha are the highest. Tohatsu and Nisssan are the same motor and tend to be more afordable. I believe Merc is same/close to Tohatsu as they are owned by them and similarly priced. Can't say about Suzuki as I've never been impressed by anything I've owned with the Suzuki name and won't buy another. For estimating purposes. A new 09Tohatsu and Nissan , electric start, power trim/tilt, tiller option is 4200-4300 with tank and prop in the NE. That's where i'm leaning.
