how much motor do I need?

I have an 18 foot Bass Tracker fiberglass dual console bass boat with a blown Evinrude 150. I will rebuild it this winter but will a 70 be enough motor to plane this boat out?

That will do until I get the 150 repaired. So you say it should get the boat on plane and to a fishing spot?

It should be enough power,if it has trouble planing change the prop. Charlie
