How much Prop to Tab clearance?

I'm installing a tabbed anode on my Alpha I (SEI really) where there was a flat tab-less one before. The interference with the prop is slight so it should be easy to remove a bit of the tab as suggested by others on this forum. How much clearance is necessary for safe operation? It looks like a half inch long and 1/8 inch deep cut would provide free rotation of the prop at rest, but more than that would seem necessary for clearance under power. How much? Would an extra quarter of an inch do it, or should it be more than that?

About 1/2" of clearance should give you best results.

Thanks! Case closed, that is a great link. I new this had to be a common issue, but my search turned up a lot of interesting stuff that, unfortunately, was not what I was looking for.
