I have a 98 150 vmax and im wondering how often I need to have the gaskets replaced? Also is there anything else I should have replaced or checked out the next time I have the boat in the shop? thanks
If you're speaking of head gaskets,they don't need to be changed unles you suspect that they are leaking.Good idea to have the fasteners retorqued to specs though.If it's been more than two years since the waterpump was replaced,I recommend that you have that done along with replacing the thermostats and some fresh sparkplugs.Good luck.
