Hi I'm kinda new to boats and boating and was wondering how often should I change the spark plugs I have a 1989 85 horse force motor. Also does anyone know where or if there's a release valve for the trim motor thanks I appreciate it

I change them every year. Its pretty cheap to do so! but ive known people to go like 5 years on one set of plugs with no problems

The permagap plugs??? They can last a real long time.
I went about 10 years before I bought new. They still didn't need it then.
Plugs with the electrode? I change every 2 years.
No release on the T/T
If you need to let it down, unscrew the front 2 pump lines.
What's it doing??

They didn't have the electrode I bought the boat a week ago pulled the plugs they were kinda black so I change them out motor is running mint.. The power trim wouldn't go up it was loose wires but I was trying to lift it up by hand couldn't find a release valve anywhere now I just to figure out why it won't stay up it falls on its own kinda quick ..
