115hp Johnson Trim Motor Wiring
I replaced my steering cables and in the process my "Up" trim motor does not actuate. Any clues where I might look first for loose connections. The "Up" tilt will not work, using either the tilt switch on the engine or the throttle control. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

O.K. Guys,
I put in my tilt/trim unit in last weekend and it is working great for me. I can control tilt and trim at the motor and also up front inside the boat using the existing tilt/trim switch in the throttle handle on the control box. Basically my buddy came over to help me out and it works great. I am a happy camper and saved alot of money buying the unit at a AWESOME price and installing it myself. Take care, Bob :)

the up and down wires are green and blue

the connection is inside the motor cover...but both are in the same connector so that cantr be the problem if up still works.

you are going to have to look for a pinched wire.

there are also two relays....I bet one controls the up and the other controls the down...dont know that for sure..but it makes sense....

you could check those....I dont know if they are the same...if so try switching them and trying it...to check

good luck I wish i could help you more...
