How to adjust reverse lock valve without pressure gauge.

Anyone have any tips on adjust a reverse lock valve without the pressure gauge as outlined in the factory manual?

Are you working with the later internal reverse lock style Prestolite pump?

No external valve on the transom assembly

I realized i was reading the wrong section of the manual

. It says to just line up the marks which i will try now.
