I have a 1992 Johnson 150 Faststrike and I don’t know how to connect the wiring harness. I connected it and then tried connecting the battery and then it started turning over.
my engine harness has black and red wires that go to the starting battery, another red wire that goes to the key switch to start the engine. If your engine is turning over when you hook cables to the battery, something is wrong.
