Never mind the calendar. Summer comes to Texas whenever it pleases.
You know that Summer is here when the lush green grasses turn brown. As Summer advances the brown grass crunches and rustles when you walk on it.:redface:
Then your thermometer starts dropping the most significant digit, like gas pumps. So a reading of "05" is really 105.
If you have reached a state of maturity that you head dispenses with hair on top in order to grow it out your ears and nose, your Doc insists that you never go outdoors hatless.
Finally, you start getting hot water from both faucets.
