How was your ride to work this morning

My ride sucked. It was white out conditions , pitch black, bumpy ride. and the worst part was we had to get out and clean the radar of snow so we would not run ashore at 6:00 am this morning running up the inlet.

ps we had no gps on the boat.

Sorta nice not driving these last two weeks. I'm sure next week if they allow me to return to work, I'll have plenty of catching up to do. I'm afraid what my shop looks like. My boss hired some off the street people to get rid of old equipment and stuff. Will probably take me months to find things again.

My ride this morning. We are under way and all of a sudden we lose one engine. So the other boat came back and we all loaded on that one wile bobbing around out there. One guy stayed with the boat to limp it out where we were working. We asked him if he new what he was doing and if he new how to get there and he said yes. Well 2 hours later he still no show.We had to go find him.

His answer was i was not lost at sea but misplaced.

ps the engine went down due to a cracked water separator housing on the fuel filter sucking air.
