Yep, depends on what model you have. Mine is rated at 85.

i have no idea...i can't find any vin or i.d plate anywhere..how do you go about finding out the year?it's a 16ft closed bow it has one transom brace(i've seen other starcrafts with 2)and it's red (which i think is from factory,i had to strip the back and it's the only paint there)

sublime can you get us some pictures of areas like the dash that might help us with the year . I have a 1970 Jupiter V 16' and the plate is riveted to the side right near the dash . I know mine was rated for a max of 85 Horse with outboard and 60 horse with an I/O setup . Bob claims mine should get up over 40 MPH with the 80 horse merc hangin off it .

EZ none of ours looks like yours That windshield is sweet . Any chance the ebay auction you got it off of said what it came off of .

sublime is the bottom of the boat red and the top white . I know the 1974 Brochure shows the 16' Holiday in those colors .

I think it actually did but I don't exactly remember. I believe it was a Larson. The best part about it is that the connection between the front and sides is rounded and allowed for a good amount of movement allowing me to bow the windshield out to accommodate the curvature of the bow. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I can even still open the center if I want to.

EZ either way that windshield makes your boat . The way its laid back makes the boat look like its flying low even just sittin there at the shore .

Sublime I'll quit droolin over EZ's boat for a second . Every brochure I have looked at from 1962 through 1977 shows a max of 85HP on the 16' closed bow boats with an outboard and a max of 60 HP with an I/O setup.

Mine is a 79' Super Sport 16 with a max of 85hp.

Has an 85hp johnson V4.

42 mph GPS.
