need to install new hub on a single axel boat trailer, I was told the total weight of boat and trailer is around 3000lbs. My question is, do I need a hub rated for the total weight, or do I add both hub ratings up? In other words, I found one rated to 1750lbs, so with both that size adds up too 3500lbs. Is that correct or no? thank you for any help!
