Hi Guys,
I have a humminbird 400tx that doesn't spot any fish! The water temp and depth are working, but no fish.
No, this is not a joke. I fished all day the other day and it didn't spot a single fish. We were trolling for stripers so I know I would have run over at least 1 fish all day.
I did a factory reset several times. I adjusted the sensitivy up and down, I adjusted the fish alarm to every possible setting. Had all day to play with it.
Some background, 2 trips ago it worked like a charm. Then previous trip the water was extremely muddy, the sensitivity was on 5 most of the day and the screen was a mess. there was a lot of clutter on the screen. I didn't have time to look into it then. When I got home I discovered the sensitivy was on 5 and assumed that was too sensitive for the muddy water. (0 is the default setting). May be related to current problem, I don't know
any suggestions? thanks
