Hustler Prop

Just got a new Hustler prop to run as a spare. I ordered the hub kit with it. I get it all put on and it comes with a flat washer that goes on after a spacer but the washer dosnt fit around my prop shaft. Should I go get another flat washer or can I just use the washer with the tabs on it from my mercruiser prop?

I did the same switch to a Hustler last year for my Mercruiser Alpha 1 and I recall using the washer with the tabs.

Mine is a alpha 1 also and came with a flat washer and said to use that, but the washer dosnt fit over my prop shaft. I Put the washer with tabs on it to try and it seems to be all right just havent ran it yet.
