hydraulic steering leak at wheel

little bit of fluid is running out of where the wheel attaches to helm i pulled the vent fill screw its still full and steering still works i added a little how big a deal is this can i go out tomarrow before fixing talking like maybee a tea sponn all day

Not too hard a job. Borrow a 3 jawed puller to get he wheel off.

Click on "helm" in the following link.

Remove the 3 screws and the retainer, gently pry out the seal asembly.
Don't scratch the shaft or housing.

Tap in the new seal it and refill. Leave the filler cap loose and cycle the wheel back and forth and the helm should purge any air.

really just wondering if i can get out on the water tomarrow before fixing small leak

Not that big a leak if you can tolerate the mess. No sense in rushing the job, and you need to source the parts. Make sure you use teleflex fuid.

The link below has the kit, but shop around, seems expensive.
