I sold my Thompson Contender and bought my kids a Manco (mancoprod dot com) 584B Streaker Mini-bike, they've been riding it for 3 days now.

High quality and runs good.

Just thought I'd share
Those are fun. Never heard of a Subaru small engine, guess they are into everything.

FYI, Pep Boys sells Pantera dirt bikes. My 9 yr old son has one and he loves it. Thing runs great for the past year.

Ken
Sure is sad to see a good Contender go into retirement for a young, wanna-be bike!

Shoulda kept the Contender - safer for the kid, you know! Oh well, have fun with the mini-bike!
I bought my kids a Redcat 90cc last year. Same as the Panteras. They're all made by the same place in China, just different importers. I'm really impressed with this little bike. It runs good (cold natured at startup), but seems to be a quality little bike for the money we paid. 500.00....

Thats cool KRS, wish my parents would have sprung for a mini bike when I was growing up. Course so do they after I scuttled the snow blower for the engine and other parts to complete my "Kit" Mini Bike. But in my defence who needs a snow blower in the summer??
I looked at the other bikes, and was worried about quality, and I'm happy with the manco.

The little Robin engine seems good too, time will tell.
