300.00 for the boat motor and trailer.. keeping the trim/tilt unit, motor and controls, cutting the rest up.. 105lbs in every hole the wiring looks awesome spark in all the holes, main output shaft seal leaks now that the motor is lowered and the gear oil can reach the seal.. it's got a little puddle under it.. Might just swap out the gear case with the one on the 60hp... I'll be cleaning the carbs and running it today.. I think it's going to be my motor for next season

NICE!!!!
I would not just clean the carbs. but also replace the diaphragms (fuel-pump) that way there will be no more guessing or harm done.
Do a run-out on the shaft to confirm straight or bent?? and repair what you got :)

I never had a Merc. that was equipped with power-trim. but on others.
I would raise it up and leave it there, check the next day to see if it dropped??
Maybe clean the motor?? check for a good seal where the motor meets he pump housing?

spend 2 minutes looking around and you can find anything.. lol seems those units use a electromechanical actuator, so no fluid to change..
