Re: I dont have a clue????
i thought every state req'd a kill switch, maybe not. assume that you do not have one. every year when i get my boat ready to go, it takes a while to get it started even after i prime the fuel pump. check for spark by pulling a plug wire and holding it close to the plug. use insulated pliers. if spark, it could just take some time to get good gas to the carb. pouring a small amount of gas into the carb should give you a short burst of run. be sure fuel tank vent is clear. THE TRASH BAG OIL CHANGE METHOD: get two heavy trash bags and put one inside another and place them under the oil pan. opening of bags should be directly under the plug hole. pull plug and let oil run into the bags. be careful when pulling bags out from sump, do not want to tear bags!! i do not do this anymore since i installed a fitting in the pan with a hose and valve to drain the oil out of the transom. i used the bag method since there was not room for a pan under the oil pan.
