Every forum has an "I got guns" thread where everyone brags about their wares.

Do we have one here?

Sorry, I am a relatively new member.

They tend to be long threads as everyone brags about how big theirs are, and how many they have.

Re: "I got guns" thread. Where is it?

Well, I did a search for "gun" and amazingly got ZERO hits.

There has to be an "I gots guns" thread on this forum.

If not, this may be the one.

Carry a Kimber Ultra CDP II with Crimson Trace grips, and a couple of other mods, thumb safety only, stainless mainspring housing, etc.

Also have a couple of Ruger 9mms, a P89 and a P95? decock only model. A 1917 Colt 45 revolver. a couple of shotguns in 12, 16, and 20 gauge. a .22 that folds up into a cell-phone looking thingamabob so I can sneak it into places where I shouldn't be carrying! Carcano 6.5 mm with ammo that is nearly impossible to find. 2 SKSs one chinese with nylon stock, one a Yugo, with grenade launcher, bayonet, etc. .270 Remington deer rifle, just in case I get hungry enough that I ever HAVE to kill a deer. Might take down Iraqi helicopters, as well. If ever needed for that purpose. The wife has a Ladysmith .38 special. There are a bunch more in my safe...I have had too many malty beverages to recall them all at this time.

And always a batch of 500-3000 rounds of 45, 9mm, and .38 reloads.

The feds would have a field day at my house, if they could somehow tie me in to some terrorist organization.

Sadly, I have WAY LESS than most people I am friends with.

I carry a Ruger .40 but also have a 9mm, .45, .357, .380, .22; The gun cabinet has 13 rifles in different cabliers, 3 shotguns, a muzzleloader and two bows. Next to the gun cabinet is a reloading bench to load ammo for each gun and I try to have at least 1000 rounds on hand for each gun. I'm currently looking for a new pistol. :)

If you search this forum you will find our guns discussions, scooper.

I have had and used many, many guns in my time, but I no longer have huge amounts of testosterone flowing in my veins so I don't need accessories to announce myself. I currently have a rimfire (Belgian Browning SA) rifle, a centerfire (Browning BLR .243) rifle, a 20 ga. superposed Browning Upland Special, a Ruger .45 ACP P-90 and a Taurus .22 SA. The P-90 and the Taurus will soon be replaced by Ruger single action revolvers in .357 and .22 convertible. I consider Bill Ruger the modern equivalent of John Moses Browning.

That armory suits my needs for anything around here. I also collect fishing tackle but have several times as much as I could ever use. :)

Hah! I LOVE it! You "dont need accessories to announce yourself" then you list an impressive list of "accessories"!

Guns are like tattoos. Or potato chips? One just isn't ever enough....

Re: "I got guns" thread. Where is it?

I guess I used a poor choice of words. I should have said that I don't need accessories to enhance my manhood. We gun owners are often accused of "needing" guns to qualify as men.

Thinking about the situations that might arise in rural Texas I consider my arsenal minimal, hardly "impressive". I have had occasion to use each of my guns in recent years. They are partly tools and partly investments. I don't consider myself a gun "collector", merely a gun fancier.

Re: "I got guns" thread. Where is it?

There are some pretty impressive collections on here. I like reading the list of what everyone has. Good thread scooper. I don?t like putting on the internet what I have for everyone to read about when it comes to rifles, pistols, or any thing else along those lines. Maybe I am paranoid, but it has worked for me so far. I do enjoy seeing what other have though.

I am paranoid, too, but if someone wants them, they need to get to them first. I tend to be well protected.

I don't have any, I swear, not a single one. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Re: "I got guns" thread. Where is it?

Used to have guns, when I was married. Divorced and didn't want to look down the barrel of My
H&K 91A-3 or Glock 22 or HK USP-40.

I now have replicas in Airsoft guns of My armory.

What I own now is a Air Force Tallon SS in .22 . Pre-charged pneumatic pellet rifle.

Quiet as a mouse fart, accurate as 1in groups @ 60 yards, keyholes @ 30.

I've done more shooting with this than any gun I owned. Lovin it and highly recommend if your in the market!

Real nice!!

There was an article this year in Fur, Fish - Game about a pneumatic 40 cal rifle that the author dropped a doe with! I have allot of respect for the "air guns" and they are more fun then air guitar's :D
