when you say manual prime at the motor do you mean switching the choke to manual or are you using the primer bulb?

i can start motor if i go to the motor and flip the primer selenoid switch but the remote will not start it. Could there be a problem at the remote start ?

there could be a number of things going on here. is it a push in style at the key? if so i would be checking for a short at the key area or even a clog in the vacuum lines that run from the block or even the fuel lines that run from the solenoid to the carbs. i wouldn't suspect the selonoid until further trouble shooting has been done. remove the intake cover from your carbs and pump your primer bulb then push the key in and listen or look to see / hear any gas coming out of the butterflies. the solenoid should make a click when the key is pressed in. this could be anything from a fuel clog to an electrical problem. more info needed after trouble shoot.
