Still no paint. Haven't heard from my buddy today. He's a very busy young man. He lives next door and I just now saw him driving in with one of those giant rolls of hay for his 2 horses. Then he was gone again.
I'm getting antsy. I'm fast running out of time. Realistically, I doubt that I could get the boat finished in time for vacation even if it was completely painted right now. . :grumpy:
I did get
most of my laptop back this afternoon except for the screen, which was what was supposed to be replaced. I apparently didn't order the correct part number and we ran into issues. So I ordered another screen this afternoon. And an inverter card as well.
So I have the laptop connected to my home TV. I can use the laptop
or the TV but not both at the same time. Sigh. :blue:
Today is Wednesday and I haven't done anything on the boat since Monday morning when I finished up the last spot of primer and touched up the little areas I missed on Sunday. Getting pretty bored sitting around watching TV.
Anyway, here's what I did over the prior few days.
The boy covered up most of the shop to keep the rattle can spray off. When we get to the point that my buddy has his HVLP gun in use, we'll cover even more thoroughly.
This is the gap area at the bow that I needed to fill. I ended up using JBWW because I was pressed for time and my epoxy filler required 24 hours to fully cure. After sanding and primer, it also looked good.
