I just bought a used 20hp merc as a kicker to the 19.6 foot superfisherman. I have a 135 hp merc on the back now and will add this as a kicker for emergencies and trolling on lake Michigan. My question is for the starcraft guys is ...is my transom strong enough for this motor and the other. the other motor weighs 365 I believe. Thanks for your thoughts, bob

There should be a tag on the back of your boat, or near the back telling you max weight and max horsepower. Altho hp usually means running at a time.

I wouldn't worry too much about the extra weight. The stress that your 135 will put on the transom is a LOT more than the extra weight of the trolling motor.

Both motors aren't going to be applying their forces at the same time. Dead weight really has little to do with anything in this case. You have no issue.

Thanks guys, I looked and I have plenty of weight left. Just needed to know where to look.
