Yea, yea, I know its not a starcraft. but it gave me some great ideas for my superfisherman resto this winter.

Got a chance to look at one this weekend. Very nice layout for a "family fisher". Lots of storage. But then I was blown away with a price tag of 32k with a 90 merc on it. 35k with a 150, and with max hp rating of 175, a more likely canidate. For 35k, they can keep it. I will steal their ideas for my starcraft and be done with it.

and yes EZ, I know it has that stupid raised windshield you hate. I don't like them either. But it not one of the really bad ones.

given the fun everyone seems to have with their SS consoles, i wonder if that raised windshield biz was to make em simpler/cheaper to build

the way i see boats like this is as a validation of what SC was doing back in the early 60s....hull design there ain't too different from an 18SS or holiday, and it still works. but yeah, for 35 large, i'll keep my $300 holiday

My first house cost less than that boat, and I'm not that old. At least I don't think I am.

Holy smokes I'm liking these old Starcrafts more every day. 30K +

I'm toying with a casting deck on the back of mine (18' Offshore I/O). Take the dog house and run it straight across and put some traction carpet or whatever on it, and storage underneath. Gas tank, batteries, geneeral storage Then just crawl up there and start fishing.

boat prices are up there, I think when I get done I'll have about 2000 in mine, hmmm, 33,000 saved. I'm good!
