I was finally able to log in...

[Bob in Calif.]

Finally.....(I think) I was able to log in by using my normal log in name and by entering mypass word in all CAPITAL letters. My all time screen name of ...Bob in Calif... was not used, but user "nickname" of 30 years, "Barnyard", showed up. (Please don't ask me how I got that nickname, it was embarrassing) :%

Soooooo, why not go to your user area and click on nick name and enter Bob in Calif there and click save?
That should change it to that and keep your other stuff with it.
