Maybe you have not noticed Chris, but the Democratic Party is now the Party of the Rich. Most of us here seem to have moderate rigs and do a lot of work themselves. The folks with the "BIG" boats or yachts don't mess with their boat and have little to do with us peons. So your analogy won't work this time. Things have shifted.
