Ideas for Mounting Handheld VHF Radio?

Yeah, I know it's "handheld", but I need a way to mount it on my console where it will be secure but close at hand and easy to grab. Since I rarely wear pants when in my boat, hooking it on my belt is not an option.

I was thinking of something mounted to the console that I could hook the belt clip over, or maybe mounting the charger somehow and keeping the radio in the charger.

Any ideas? Anyone done anything like this?

I just use an empty drink holder
