Now that's good advice! A single-carb motor that's running properly will respond to 1/4 turn increments on the low speed adjusting needle after an original 1 1/2 turns out from lightly seated. The RPM's will incease or decrease noticably. If this isn't happening then you will NEVER find the "Sweet Spot" that OB and others refer to. I'll bet you didn't have a whole lot of difference between 7 turns out and 7 1/4 turns out before you cleaned her up!
