I have a 1998 Mercury 150 HP carburated outboard. I have to keep pushing the choke on the ignition in order to keep the motor running. This sometimes lasts a few minutes. If I don't push the choke, the RPMs eventually go down until the engine stops. Sometimes it gets really hard for it to keep at idle. Once it gets over this issue which like I stated it could last a while, it runs good and it will also idle good until I shut it off and tried to run it again if it cooled down........ HELP !
