I have a '79 Chrysler 115 Model 1159H9C. It idles ok around 800RPM but only with throttle somewhat forward. Idle screw about 3/4 inch away from resting place on block. throttle cam rolled a bit forward. Needless to say I can't put it in gear without killing the motor.
I have timed it at 32 BTDC with the Clymer's static timing procedure. I have syncronized the throttle linkage and choke linkage. I have also set the fuel air mixture idle screws all the way in then 1 1/4 turn out... think I might try a new set of points. I just acquired the motor. Probably years since it ran. Thanks
