We see a lot of those "go-fast' type boats over on the St.Johns River between Jacksonville and Astor, look great, sound great, but not quite sure what they're good for, other than attracting those girls in the bikini's. We see those guys coming across lake George at 70+MPH and I just hope they don't clip a cypress stump or log!

You've got some weird tastes there buddy, that paint is incredible (and cost more then most boats).

I'd love to have some Chris Cruz paint on my boat, but then I can't afford the materials let alone getting him to do the work.

This is evidence of how much the performance boat market is suffering. Due to fuel prices allong with a week Economy boats like this are the hardest to sell. Who can afford 20 gallons per hour at $4 a gallon. A 5 hour boat ride costs $1000 I myself have resorted to 1 hour trips on my 38 ft Wellcraft. I still spend thousands of dollars a year on fuel. Wellcraft has abandond the performance side if the industry, Envision is out of business. Most big boat manufacturers want large down payments before the start of production.
Deals like this are very common. The bank loses Just like a home mortgage where the property value has droped 40% and the owner cannot make the payment. They just want out!!

I love the detail but that one is a little too busy IMO. I like the clean looking boats myself

I have to agree. It's ugly. But I wouldn't buy a boat like that anyways. Not practical for anything except going fast.

Ha Ha, I might have 84k because I don't have boats like that. I see a lot of deals on big cruisers that I just can't believe.

Loud, ugly, useless, 'Hey look at me, I've reached puberty!' kind of boat.

Just my opinion, of course... :D

20 gallons per hour @ $4.00 per gallon = $80.00 per hour
5 hours @ 80.00 per hour = $400.00

Where's the other $600.00 come from?
OH!! Wait...beer...nevermind, I forgot!! :D

Re: If you happen to have $84,000

Actually it's the most efficient hull designed. Proven fact not something I'm making up and the reason Mercury does ALL their lake x testing on Velocity's.
(also the first big hull to break 100mph)

So everybody on here with a twin engine cruiser spends way more then you would with it.

Yeah who would want a boat built to far better standards then what anybody on here has, tuned and propped by a legend, sleeps four, full head, and gets far better fuel economy then any other design.

You don't have to run 70 mph you know it works great at 40 or 50 running over 4-6' waves like a Caddie.

No you could travel, more spend less, ride more comfortable and yes women will actually want to spend the day on your boat. (how was that bad?)

I just love how everyone always thinks a performance uses more fuel. it's the complete opposite. Big express cruisers that are built overly heavy by poor means and are carrying a whole condo are really the useless fuel burners.
