Is it painted or gelcoat?

It's PPG paint there is no way you could get those colors from gel. It looks incredible on the light (I could do without the transom art that's too much)

The boat was made to showcase PPG products, with an interior designed by Vantare (they made a matching bus rv)

Actually it's the most efficient hull designed. Proven fact not something I'm making up and the reason Mercury does ALL their lake x testing on Velocity's.
(also the first big hull to break 100mph)

So everybody on here with a twin engine cruiser spends way then you would with it.

Yeah who would want a boat built to far better standards then what anybody on here has, tuned and propped by a legend, sleeps four, full head, and gets far better fuel economy then any other design.

You don't have to run 70 mph you know it works great at 40 or 50 running over 4-6' waves like a Caddie.

No you could travel, more spend less, ride more comfortable and yes women will actually want to spend the day on your boat. (how was that bad?)

I just love how everyone always thinks a performance uses more fuel. it's the complete opposite. Big express cruisers that are built overly heavy by poor means and are carrying a whole condo are really the useless fuel burners.

i agree. we had 4-5 big cruisers pass us going the opposite way and i could not believe the water they plowed and wake they sent off. i thought we were going to get swamped.

imho. the paint is too busy for my taste. it's detriment to the boat. make me think of when i was young. my uncle always said ya don't wanna be a stick out. took me a few years to figure that out what he meant, but after i figured it out, he was right. that boat is a stick out.

there's a go fast boat around my area that's been for sale for quite some time. http://lincoln.craigslist.org/boa/2091192084.html i think it's gonna be hard to sell do to it's unique paint job. some folks may not like that fancy paint...

LOL, agreed. I know some nice guys with go fasts BUT generally, the guys have self esteem issues from what I can tell. Old chubby bald guys with gold chains, dead wives, and semi attractive gold diggers in bikinis that look good from 20 yards away.

I think you shoulda posted this one in the Craigslist tlc thread! Says a lot about these FUGLY paint jobs that maybe 3 or 4 people like,but then they don't happen to be buyers..... so the seller sits on his big dollar 'custom paint by joeblow' because the whole thing needs to be REPAINTED,to fit the BUYERS taste.

The last time I saw one of those it was on a crane with an air conditioned hull You could have put my pick up in there and not rubed the sides. Maybe was only the upper part for sale how was I to know the difference

Yep, I like simple graphics or none at all, but the boat would be incredible to drive. I went in my neighbor's 25' Baja with a single 502 mag, and did 73 mph gps on a local lake in 2-3' chop, and it scared the **** outta me
