What's the difference between 582508 19KW -OA and 582508 20GX -OA ignition coils and are they interchangeable?

98 115 Johnson SPL

Everything I've read says the 582508 is good for everything from 4-300 hp including my specific motor, but none of them have a suffix.

By the parts breakdown that is the correct number for your engine. Where are you getting the suffix numbers, the parts breakdown does not list any suffix numbers?

It's on the coil (see above). These came off a 225 hp motor, but i got 6 plus wires for $30 on E-Bay with a guarantee, figured what the heck. I know OMC has a habit of suffixing part numbers that refer to manufacture date or run.
