Hi all, so I have been having issues with intermitent spark on one bank and then the other. It comes and goes. When it drops a bank I pull on powerpack/stator/timerbase wires and it somtimes comes back. Im pretty sure its not the coils or powerpacks. The connections are all good.

What provides the power packs with spark or power?

Please advise....thanks

You pull on the wires and spark returns but you're sure the connections are good..? You can try some CRC electrical cleaner from napa, if that works then apply some dialectric grease to the plugs to seal out moisture.

power pack gets juice from the stator, if its not the wiring then I'd get a DVA meter (cheap on ebay or build one) and go through all the tests in the manual.

Yes I did clean the connections with crc electrical cleaner. How do I go about building a dva meter? Would it help to full the flywheel to inspect the magnets and wires? Or should I go straight to the tests. I ran some tests on my mulit meter but my manual describes a different type of meter so it was hard to relate the figures if that makes sense.
