ignition problem

i have a 120hp force and i lost ingnition power to the whole engine i have switched the systems and had great spark but didnt start up then lost it after a couple of trys. i have brand new coils and spark plugs but i got the ignition systems from another engine that had problems with the powerhead. im losing hope in it and now what it off my property and get another boat. ill take any help i can thanks

How about telling us the year of the motor.

And the year of the scavenged ignition parts?

What parts have you tested? what replaced?


stator?

trigger?

rectifier?

cd modules?

Switchbox ?

coils ?

CDM's ?

And dont test it with the plug leads off or you buggger the switchbox ...put and earthed plug in each one ...
