Does anyone know what fuses/circuit breakers are or are not ignition protected? I need to locate a 30 or 40 amp circuit breaker or fuse in a location that requires ignition protection, and I cannot find much information on the subject.
Specifically, I know of some pricey surface mount circuit breakers ($50) that are explicitly SAE J1171 (vaporproof). I also have found out Blue Sea ANL type fuses ($20 each + holder) are approved. But most fuses and stud connect breakers don't say anything at all, except a bunch of panel type breakers explicitly say they do not conform to J1171.
I'm surprised places like Ancor and Blue Sea have nothing to say on the subject. What about ATC or those big ATM ones? Glass fuses? Any suggestions?
