ignition wiring

im confused the wiring harness on my engine has 7 wires the new switch has 6 / the colors don't match / engine serial # is 4572919 don't know what year either/ wires on eng. harness are red,black,yellow,orange,brown,gray&white the new switch is made by sierra #mp4107& wire colors are red,black.black&yellow.yellow&black,yellow&red, violet can someone help me with this info??

When ordering Merc parts the serial number is more important than the year.<br /><br />Yours is 1977.<br /><br />Chris...........<br /><br />Let me know when you're done with the drawing so I can remove it. Thanks.........
