I need the color code for the ignition switch fo a 1996 force 90 hp outboart i have a wiring harness with 6 wires

Welcome to iboats.

What are the wire colors?

Does your engine have cdm ignition.

If not sure, post the serial number.

Than model number doesn't exist.
You must mean 856x7b.
Thats a 1987 85 hp.



Red wire ------------- B terminal
Red/blue wire-------- I terminal
White wire ----------- M terminal
Blue wire ------------- the other M terminal
Green wire ----------- C terminal
Yellow wire ----------- S terminal

I also need wireing help.

I need to know the wire positions on the ignition switch for a 35 HP Force. Also if you can tell me the year on this motor it would be helpful.
