I'm getting dripped on.

My Doral has a clear plastic window that snaps to the top of the windshield and is zippered to my camper top. While under way in the rain the water runs up the plastic and comes in a little thru the zipper. Of coarse it drips on me. Does anyone know of a way to prevent this from happenning? Thanks for all your help.

Have you tried to lubricate the zipper? Candle wax works great and also helps with the drips. I guess the zipper is not under a small flap?

i've nothing constructive to say, sorry. but do have a comment.

Of coarse it drips on me.

sounds like good 'ol murphy at work to me.

last boat i had had a full enclosure top. it dripped on me too. like ya say. not next to me, but on me.. just figures. that said. i was still happy. i was much dryer inside than i'd have been if i'd have been outside. just counting what blessing i had ya know.

could be worse. my cover snaps to my top. of course it leaks at where the two tops meet. but i'm still dryer inside that i would be outside... back to counting my blessings...

i probably just have low standards.

candle wax sounds like a good place to start at. maybe there's hope for your zipper. my snaps, i don't think so..

Bees wax also works well, you could also try spraying water repellent on it like you use on tents etc.

Carry a small umbrella! Sorry, couldn't resist. It's early here and my sense of humor is still sleeping. Good luck and candle wax might just do it.

That's what I'd suggest. I've used it on heavy zippers in tents, works great.

Wax sounds like it would work too.

Duct tape---don't leave home without it---- lol-----whenever we are going to have to run long distances in the rain---Duct tape-works great

Ayuh,... If this doesn't suit you,...
Pull the canvas down,+ bring it to an Upholstery Shop,+ have them put a little Flap on the top to divert the water elsewhere...

I had to do that to My homebuilt semi-rigid bimini...
I had 'em double flap it where it meets the glass...
No more leaks now...
