I'm going to paint my boat with Bedliner spray!

Not really, but I was looking at some of the stick on keel guards cause that's what I need, but curiosity begs me to ask, what if I taped off the keel area and sprayed it with Bedliner? Yeah...I'm a noob

Hmmm, I'm not so sure that wouldn't work to some extent. Might be worth a try and not to expensive of and experiment. 3-4 layers sholuld provide some pretty good protection. I like people that think "Out of the Box" and this is an intriguing idea IMHO. I say "Go for it!" and let us know how it works out

The only problem I see with it will be removing it if you aren't happy with it, other than that it sounds like a plan to me.

It's a lot chea....er...less expensive than a keel guard. If it doesn't work, spend the bucks and slap a keel guard over it. No harm in trying.

If you use the good stuff...not the store bought stuff, it will work fine. The good stuff that you pay someone else to spray on will work, it won't be cheap though. Most of the DIY stuff is just a cheap imitation.
