Hope you are in a fresh water area because maintenance gets a lot tougher if you are operating in salt water.

spending your bucks on a boat/s unfortunately doesnt really end jared t,slows down but doesnt stop.i was told it was like a hole in the water that all of your money goes in,but once youve addressed everything it will slow down,then you have to buy fuel/mix,my old 40hp evin uses about 2 and half to three gal/hour wot,so i get about 2 hours for each 6gal tank at wot,,thats why i cruise slow and keep the r,s down

can anyone tell me where do i hook up a tach on this motor its a 1984 johnson 40 hp http://s871.photobucket.com/albums/ab279/sid2jay/.im going to buy a cheap tach gas and volt meter but i dont know where the tach hooks up too my control box has no wires hanging or exposed .

question reguarding an old trailor i have .I purchased a boat and trailor for 300.00 dollars .Boat was restored and trailor has 400.00 of taxes not paid ,with no plate. i am ready to go boating but cant tow without tag. i live in louisiana any ideas what i can do other then pay the other persons taxes. the shape the trailors in i would do better buying another trailor.
