Hello to all. Please allow me to first introduce myself. Am Noel Paris from the Island of Malta located in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea. I own a 14' open boat which is powered by a Suzuki 9.9DT(main) and a 3.5hp Nissan NS3.5A (auxiliary) outboard engines. I am keen to service and repair my engines when necessary though am not that technical.

I intend to change the impeller on my Nissan 3.5hp outboard but when I unbolted the lower part from below the anti-cavitation plate, I could not locate the empeller housing.

Can some of the readers kindly assist with the a step-by-step method supported by exploded views? Thanking you for your kind responses.

Best Regards

Hi Dan,

Thanks to your advise I have also changed the impeller on my Nissan 3.5A - pretty easy job given the location of the impeller housing right on the prop shaft.

Best Regards
:) :) :)
