Impeller replacement for 73 Johnson 65 HP

Just a quicky, I'm trying to replace the impeller on a '73 Johnson 65 HP (63ESL-73R) OB, but I can't find where to disconnect the shift linkage. Can anyone point me in the right direction?<br /><br />Many thanks!

Underneath and in back of the bottom carburetor.

Thanks Joe, one more question, does the seal around the exhaust normally get melted? Mine's a crusty bunch of rubber now.<br /><br />Sigh, another visit to the parts store for this boat.<br /><br />Thanks again, Larry
